- Must the person who will be responsible for the athlete physically travel with the child on the same airplane flight?
No it is not necessary for the athlete and the “guardian” to be in the same airplane flight.

What information does the athlete (minor) have to carry with them?
The athlete (minor) should physically have in his or her possession information about the person who has agreed to be his guardian while in Canada.
- What is meant by the word information?
The athlete should carry a letter of authorization signed by both parents authorizing the guardian to deal with situations that may arise on behalf of the parents. As well, the athlete should carry information on how to contact the guardian in his home country and in Canada should the need arise – address, telephone and cell numbers, telephone number at work, hotel name and telephone number in Canada, airline and flight number.
- Must the responsible person/guardian sign a form/letter stating and acknowledging their willingness and agreement to accept the responsibility of acting as such child’s guardian?
